Ointments made with of red clover are often used as treatment for skin problems like rashes and irritations. This is often mixed with calendula (an orange flower) and comfrey (a plant with a purple flower) to make a salve that can be applied to certain skin conditions.
Just add the red clover, calendula, comfrey, and 2/3 cup of olive oil in a jar. Give it a good shake and place in a warm location for 4-8 weeks (shaking it occasionally). Then strain the mixture and discard the solid residuals.
Cook the oil in low heat and add a tablespoon of beeswax. This infusion can last for up to six months when stored in a cool and dry place. It can be used as treatment for psoriasis and eczema, as well as other cases of skin irritation and inflammation.
