Want a different take on your favorite Japanese dish? Combine 3 tbsp of soy sauce, mirin, and sake with 1 tbsp of minced garlic and 2 tbsp of brown sugar. Mix well until the sugar dissolves into the marinade. Set aside this mixture in a clean bowl. Place 4 boneless chicken thighs into the mixture and evenly glaze the meat. Sear the chicken in a skillet for 5 minutes. Make sure all sides are cooked evenly. Add the teriyaki sauce (a different one from the first mixture) and cook until it thickens.
Prepare the dressing. You will need 1 tsp of rice wine vinegar, ¼ cup of teriyaki dressing/ marinade, and 1 tsp of toasted sesame oil. Mix these ingredients well in a bowl. Keep in mind that the marinade should’ve been unused (the one you set aside). Mix all the salad ingredients. Season it with sesame seeds, green onion, and shredded seaweed. It is never too late to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It’s best to use naturally-grown ingredients to ensure a nutritious meal. It may take some time before you get used to the taste of vegan recipes, but the results are definitely worth it.
