Foods You Should Only Buy Once…Then Grow Forever

Green Onions

The next time you buy green onions, set aside two or three bulbs for planting – preferably mature ones. Moisten soil with water and dig holes on it two inches apart. The bulbs should be completely embedded into the soil.

Two or three weeks after, the leaves will be ready for trimming and cooking. As long as the bulbs stay in place and are regularly watered, the leaves will keep growing.
